Joe, Your situation sounds totally avoidable! This was obviously a bookeeping error. My policy is to hold big business responsible for sloppy and fraudelent books. I admonish you to contact your Oregon Attorney General Hardy Myers first thing next week. Explain to the hotline your situation and have all paperwork and bills handy. Both Carleton Shets and your credit card company are guilty parties in sloppy bookkeeping. Look at the trouble I am having with the Worldcom people! --------- Hardy Myers, Attorney General or Pete Shepherd, Deputy Attorney General Department of Justice 1162 Court Street NE Salem, OR 97301-4096 [email protected] 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday: (503) 378-4320 from Salem (503) 229-5576 from Portland (toll free) 1(877) 877-9392 elsewhere in Oregon (toll free)

The first thing you should have done is put this in dispute with your credit card company. THen every communication with the company should be in writing. If it more than 2 billing cycles then you are out of luck. Next time know your rihgts and use them.
