I can't believe that CF has added a special "update" feature to their website. You can now access the status of your order by going into www.carolinafurniture.com and choosing the "update" option. Interestingly enough their is a "no status" message for my order. If you want an interesting feel for the local law enforcement methodology regarding HR Privette, try calling the Brunswick County Sheriff Department to file a complaint. They indicated to me that they had shut down HR & Carolina Furniture because they confiscated his phones and computers. When I expalined to them that CF still had an 800 phone number and website, they patiently explained to me that this could not be correct because they had removed all of his phones and computers. I explained to them that I was currently looking at the CF website and they still concluded this was not correct because HR had no computers. I almost went over the edge. It is apparent that the state of North Carolina is totally lacking in any type of enforcement regarding this type of criminal behavior. Possibly everyone needs to contact Seneator Basnights office and ask that some pressure be placed on local or federal law enforcement to move forward with shutting CF down. The AG's office does not have the legal ability to file charges. It is up to the local law enforcment departments to carry out the arrests, and I was told that out of state furniture rip off problems do not take presidence over local law enforcement problems.
