I bought their platinum warranty contract I've been paying on it for over five months. I have a 2020 Silverado. I took it in to the dealership and I found out that the rear end hadd issue. I turned that into them for a claim for $1900 and they would not pay it! I have full service records since day one of the vehicle.
I called few time got the run around the dealer called more then 5 times. This is a scam outfit that lies to you I feel betrayed to the fact that I thought I was running and driving under warranty when I really wasn't they will not cover what they say they do!

A 2020 Silverado has a 3 year/36,000 mile manufacturers...

warranty. If you have less than 36,000 miles on the truck, the manufacturers warranty would cover the work, unless you altered the vehicle in some way that would void the warranty.
Nobody needs to purchase a warranty on a vehicle that is still under warranty from the manufacturer. It makes no sense. Also, CarShield is a marketing company, not a warranty company. Always do your research before buying any type of extended warranty.
***You should mail a copy of your Ripoff Report to Dateline NBC and to 60 Minutes in New York. Maybe one of them will contact you and expose CarShield on National TV. Just type in 271771 at this site and their addresses appear in Consumer Comment #1 at Ripoff Report 271771.

Why did you purchase an extended warranty in early 2021 for a 2020 vehicle that was most likely still under the manufacturer’s warranty? How many miles were on the vehicle when you purchased the extended warranty? Why wasn’t the repair covered under the manufacturer’s warranty?
