I was ripped Off! Chris Wuerz and Carwash-Detail damaged my Hummer
On Monday, Aug, 1st. Mid-afternoon. I stop in with my 2006 Hummer H3 for a car wash.at 5201 s.e. hwy 441 in Belleview, Fl. After paying for my wash, When my car was finished, I notice my  driver's side mirror was completely gone. I notified the service desk and the attendant located my mirror in the car washing bay. The service attendant began to file a incident report and had me sign it along with her signature. She began to explain their incident policy was to send me to their, Mechanic/body shop that handles the car wash incidents. She received a phone call from the owner of the business and he told her " This lady will not be covered, we will not fix her mirror and it was already damaged before she got there." I explain that was impossible and wanted a copy of the detailed report of the incident for my insurance. She refused and said she would lose her job if she gave me a copy. It was just best for me to leave now. I explained I am not satisfied with her companies machine causing Severe damage to my SUV. I requested a copy the second time. The third time I reached over and the clipboard was laying flat on the counter. I secured the copy, walked outside and called 911. The police arrived to help me make a accident report. I began to explain the problem, when the young girl came out screaming and raising her voice. She claimed I was cursing, swinging, violent and she also claimed she had proof of this on surveillance camera. The Officer Larry Thompson walk inside watch the video. He came back outside and explain to me " On the video camera your Hummer had no damage before going in. It looks like the damage was caused in the wash machine. He also said he did not see me showing any signs of violence or rude behavior." I have two estimates to repair the Truck Both are around $300. The lowest being $298 at Palm Chevrolet. The police report number is, 2011080005
The owner will not give his insurance Liability provider information to Me, the Belleview Police Dept or My Insurance company. I am assuming he does not have insurance liability or he can not afford another claim. It is not his decision  to make. This is a matter for insurance claim adjusters to decide.

Bigcarlos is not telling the truth the only videos he is in is the fake ones that where made to cover his brother (Chris Wuerz). And as for the lies told by Amanda the car wash manager, I can't tell you how many times Chris, Carlos and myself would pull a train on her in the back room while she was bent over a wash basin, with Chris wife filming the whole thing.

P.S. i have all the real videos that prove what really happened to the mirror on the Hummer and the slip and fall because Amanda was all sex crazed and retard strong and forgot to put out the wet floor sign.

THIS PREVIOUS POST IS FUNNY. I WORK AT THE CARWASH AND HAVE TO PUT MY 2 CENTS.

I HAVE WORKED HERE FOR 5 YEARS. CHRIS DOES ALL THE MECHANICS AND WON'T LET ANYONE TOUCH THE EQUIPMENT. THE HUMMER MIRROR WAS ALREADY PREVIOUSLY BROKEN. SHE JUST PURCHASED THE VEHICLE USED, AND IS A 2006 VEHICLE. I AM THE BIG GUY IN THE VIDEO WHEN TERRY SCHAFFER WENT CRAZY. THIS LADY IS NUTZ AND HER SON IS ONE WRITING THIS STUFF, JACOB KODNER. THEY RUN SOME KIND OF FAKE CHURCH AND KEEP THE DONATIONS. TERRY DRIVES A BEAUTIFUL WHITE MERCEDES, AND THE SON DRIVES ONE AS WELL. THEY LIVE IN A HUGE HOUSE IN BELLEVIEW AND IN SOUTH FLORIDA.

THEY DON'T WANT THE TRUTH TO BE SHOWN, THAT'S WHY MY BOSS POSTED THE VIDEO.

I work for Chris Wuerz as a fix all employee. What that means is he pays me a part of his profits every month and I fix things that need fixed. When Jennifer Stoddard came in with her beautiful white H3 Hummer and paid for the works wash and detail, Mr. Wuerz told me to go "Fu*k up her ride" because she would not reply to his advances for a date. I don't blame her, this guy looks like 50lbs of s**t in a 10lb bag. So in short this is a true account of what happened to Jennifer Stoddard Hummer H3.

What happened with  the Terry Schaffer slip and fall incident is that she in deed did fall but not from a slip I was told to push her because she is a "Big Nose Jew" The video Chris Wuerz posted of Terry Shaffer is in all actuality a video of his wife. So in short this is the true account of what happened to Terry Schaffer.

Never take your car to this man to be washed or detailed.

An attorney and a police report?    It's people like you and your mother that really make me lose faith in this society.    Security video puts a real damper on your antics, doesn't it?   You should both be ashamed of yourselves.

She did not slip and fall. She dropped her phone and that was it. verified by 3 witnesses. my manager acted completely professional, checked the floor after she heard the phone dropped. She had to deal with a very rude customer!

My family has been using this car wash for years (back before the current owners) & never had a problem. My mother was in there & had a minor slip due to a wet floor. Instead of my mother calling an attorney & filing a police report like most people would do, she confronted the young lady working at the front desk. She did this as a courtesy so this would not happen to anyone & further risk the chance of injury. The woman looked directly at my mother & said why don't you learn to walk in those heels? My mother & her oviously exchanged a couple words. Once I got wind of this I contacted the owner to notify him of his disrespectfull empolyee. After I said that he would be at risk of a law suit if this was in hands of a greedy hungry person. He from there reacted in a very disrespectfull, racial & angry way. After him & I exchanged some very rude words, I hung up & forgot about it. About an hour later the owner calls me again (I answer expecting an apology) & says "I want your p***k Jewish A$$ to know your mother is a f$$$king b&$tch just like you. I recorded our prior conversation & notified the authories about the owners threats & anti-semetic remarks. As good samaritan, my mother (a well respected citizen in the community due to her fundraising & services) tries to prevent a future incident that no one gets hurt & is disrespected in this manor? I intend to do everything in my power to spread the word of how terrible this operation truly is.

"What's funny is that the Hummer is supposed to be a super tough macho vehicle and the customer is saying it can't even make it through a car wash without breaking? "

I believe that could only be said about the 1st generation of Hummers.  The OP has an H3, which is basically a Suburban with a body that slightly resembles a military vehicle.   My Marine friends refer to it as the "ladies version" of an actual Humvee.

Cleaning the Mirror
Use a paper towel or similar material dampened with
glass cleaner. Do not spray glass cleaner directly on
the mirror as that may cause the liquid cleaner to enter
the mirror housing.
Outside Power Mirrors
The outside power mirror
controls are located on the
drivers door armrest.
To adjust the power mirrors, do the following:
1. Press the top of the selector switch to choose
the drivers side mirror. Press the bottom of the
selector switch to choose the passengers
side mirror.
2. Use the round, four-way control pad to move the
mirror in the desired direction.
If the mirror begins making a ratcheting sound, the
mirror has reached the end of its travel and can go no
farther in that direction. To stop the sound, reverse
the mirror direction using the control pad.
The mirrors can be manually folded inward to prevent
damage when going through an automatic car wash
or confined space. Pull the mirror toward the vehicle to
fold. To return the mirror to its original position, push
outward. Be sure to return both mirrors to the unfolded
position before driving.

to STAY AWAY! from these places.  They can DAMAGE YOUR VEHICLE and when they do, they will tell you to PISS OFF!

It's even more important to STAY AWAY if you drive an expensive vehicle, or any vehicle really, that you care about.

An what a real sweet owner and staff, making you call the police to get your paperwork for your insurance, I would have simply b**ch slapped Amanda the c*** for being difficult.

Hopefully your insurance will come through, as you see these guys won't.

Good luck!

p.s.  Nice of the police to take your side, sounds like they've dealt with these crooks before.

Over Dramatic

My name is Amanda, the manager of Car wash and Detail, and I was the "young girl" that was helping you at the Car wash.
To begin with, we hardly wrecked your vehicle.  It is your responsibility as the owner of a vehicle to make sure you protect your vehicle at all times, which would include pulling your mirrors in while you are riding through a car washing machine.  We have signs everywhere, and on our receipts, that the owner of a vehicle is responsible to mirrors, antennas, etc.
You stayed in your SUV the entire time you were there, nobody else touched your car at all.  We do hundreds of cars a week, and nobody's mirrors fall off due to our negligence. You told me inside our lobby that you HEARD your mirror fall off, but your weren't paying attention, and decided to leave without saying anything, then coming back 30 minutes later, very angry and rude.
I would like to say, that I never once raised my voice or yelled at you at all, I was very calm and kept my composure while you screamed at me, in front of other customers, making everybody in the lobby feel very uncomfortable, and look very unprofessional.
Also, when you say that you "obtained" the damage form, that is a little understated, because you violently ripped it of of my clipboard, that was in my hands, and stomped out.  Whenever the police showed up, you were on the phone, calling myself, and another employee "jerks," and other names, which was not necessary.
Maybe if you would have came in and been honest, and talked in a normal, nice voice, none of this drama could have happened.
It is very inappropriate  for you to get on the Internet and try to give us a bad name by posting these comments.   We have countless loyal customers that have been coming to our Car Wash for years, that have never had a problem, and if we every are responsible we damage, we deal with it properly.

It is very unfortunate that all of this happened.

I've been through many car washes over the years and usually do not fold my mirrors although there is always a sign telling me I should.  I have never had a problem but it would be my problem if I did.

What's funny is that the Hummer is supposed to be a super tough macho vehicle and the customer is saying it can't even make it through a car wash without breaking?  Hilarious.

I expect it was already damaged when it came in but even so, it's always the customers responsibility to fold the mirrors and remove anything else that might break off.

I agree with the car wash on this one.

My name is Chris Wuerz/ owner of Carwash & detail, Belleview.
Jennifer Stoddard-2620 Nw Pine Ave, ocala Fl.34475 (352)346-8188
This customer does not want to accept responsibility for her actions. A $300 repair is nothing, I can pay that now, but my business is my life and it's the principle of the matter and why have chosen not to pay. I am 100% insured, liability and workers comp. She is trying to tarnish our name.
This vehicle is a 2006 hummer h3. It was just recently purchased. She arrives at our carwash on Aug 1,2011 and purchases a $4.99 exterior only wash. She stays in the vehicle throughout the process. Which means she is behind the wheel, our employees never drive it. The Hummer H3 operating manual states- To retract mirrors prior to entering an automatic car wash-. As with all of our customers, the customer tells us to remove the antenna, push mirrors, etc. If we do this voluntarily we might break it and be responsible. We have signage stating such. She never notified us. We have a variety of hummers that come through our wash everyday and no problems!
Jennifer then proceeds out the exit end, it gets hand dried, and she leaves! She does not come back for 30 minutes!!! How do you not notice your drivers side mirror missing!! She stated to my manager that she heard it break, but was busy with paperwork. Which to me means- not paying attention. Any slight turn of the wheel and you are out of line and can cause damage. our machinery is in 100% working order. Her other mirror was fine. The other vehicles before and after hers were fine. The explanation is this mirror had some kind of previous damage and putting any pressure on a damaged piece will break it.
Jennifer was very rude and never gave my staff a chance to help her, she cursed and was loud in front of my other customers. I have posted videos on you-tube to show the story.
I apologize this happened, but again it is principle of the matter.

"Wrecked" your car?

#18Consumer Suggestion

Tue, August 02, 2011

In addition to your being a bit of a drama queen, most car washes have signs posted advising that they're not responsible for mirrors or antennas.  The one I go to advises folding mirrors in and removing antennas.

I sure hope you're still able to drive your "wrecked" vehicle.  I honestly sense a scam on YOUR part.
