Cascade Sunsets Emerald Coast Excursions inaccurate travel offers Miramar Beach, Vero Beach Florida
Cascade Sunsets ( probably also known by other "localized" names) gave a by-invitation sales presentation for Member Choice travel club. During the sales presentation, all kinds of special travel offers for hotels, resorts, train travel, cruises -- you name it -- were quoted, including prices. Once we signed the contract and paid the membership price, we immediately, the next day, placed several requests with Member Choice for the exact same resorts and travels that had been quoted, and the prices came back comparable to what was stated during the sales presentation.
However, 3 months later, we again requested quotes, this time for specific resorts in Hawaii, and the prices came back $300 to $3,000 more than what was quoted! We contacted Cascade Sunsets (since Member Choice indicated this company merely quantity-purchases memberships and then resells them at a mark-up), and finally talked to someone who identified himself as "Director of Member Services." He could not verify the prices that the sales staff quoted during our presentation -- of course they are not printed anywhere -- and did not want to offer any kind of refund or compensation.
We feel we were very misled by this sales presentation, and we are very unhappy with this membership. Deceived, lied to, and left out to dry after paying substantially for travel discounts that purported could not be found anywhere else. rip-off!!
