I too purchased a spa in May 2004 from Funray Spas, 2568 S. Broadway, Denver, CO (303-296-0515), which included purchasing a voucher from Cashback International which "guaranteed" a return of much if not most of the purchase price of the spa as long as I fulfilled all the requirements of the voucher.

I dutifully completed all the paperwork as required and sent in the first part of the voucher submittal to Cashback International at 15 E. North St., Dover, DE 19901. This was accepted and signed for and I got the verification back which I kept.

I kept all the required paperwork for the specified 39 months, and then sent in the voucher along with all the required paperwork, to the specified Cashback International address of 15 E. North St., Dover, DE 19901.

A week later I received my submittal package back, marked as "addressee unknown".

Previously when I needed warranty work on my spa and had tried contacting Funray, I found that all their phone numbers had been disabled. I was able to contact a Jeremiah Beasley on 4/18/2005 through an email address that I had and he did in fact return my email and confirm that Funray was out of business in the Denver area, but directed me to where I could get warranty work done. I have not been in contact with him or anyone else from Funray since then. I did hear that they were still in business in Pueblo some time ago.

I suspected from the start that the Cashback voucher could be bogus, but figured that if it was in fact legitimate I could fulfill the requirements of the voucher and get a bunch of my money back. It was a gamble, I know, but I thought at the time that it would be worth the risk. I will admit that all the Cashback International brochures and the voucher itself seemed legitimate, along with all the promises that the money used to purchase the vouchers would be kept safe in an account until such time that the voucher could be redeemed. I wonder where all that money is now.
