Cashnet.com ripoff San Francisco California
I received a voice mail message that was very difficult to understand from a Ms. Smith at 415-200-0283 and she stated that she represented Prudential and was collecting for cashnet.com. I have never had any dealings with this firm and feel that this is a total ripoff. When I attempted to phone the number she gave, it was not working and all I could hear was a fax tone. About ten minutes after I hung up, a gentleman with an Indian accent phoned me to see if I had called that number. At that time I told him that Ms. Smith's accent was difficult to understand, but I was attempting to return her call and could not get through. I also told him that I did not recognize the company that he represents and that I have not had any dealings with cashnet.com. I thought that was the end of it; however yesterday I received another call from Ms. Smith and she started out very rudely by saying, "can you understand me now!" She then informed me that I would hear from their legal department. I am still scratching my head trying to figure out why I will hear from their legal department!
If you receive a phone call from 415-200-0283, do yourself a favor and just ignore this bunch of jerks.
