This website gives you casting calls for various movies, tv shows, commercials, etc. I signed up for a trial period for 30 days for $.99 just to try it out. And only after I would be charged the normal amount. I cancelled my membership 2 weeks from the last day of my trial period. Also when I cancelled my membership in the "fine print" it stated that any leftover balanced would still be due. So I thought, that didn't apply to me because I was on the free trial. I thought that would be the end.

WRONG! I randomly viewed my checking account online and then saw not only a charge for $.99 but a charge for $21 from castingyou.com. I then get an email that states that because I didn't cancel within the first week that I automatically was signed up for an auto sign up for 3 months for about $40 a month and I owed about $80 dollars for June and July of 2007.

I tried calling this company during business hours about 10 times throughout a days period. Every time was a recording, not even voicemail, that stated the business hours. I tried the next day and the next and still the same outcome. I emailed them and got a rather nasty email in return saying to pay my balance and that I was suppose to cancel in 7 days to not get signed up for the auto membership. I read all terms and conditions, like I always do, before I signed up and there was nothing saying anything about an auto signup.

But if you think about it it's a huge contridiction. How would you try out a website for 30 days but then have to cancel in 7 to not be signed up for 3 months? So they gave me the option of an arbitration. That option included either paying the balance in full or pay for a year, wow what a solution.

I have received lots of emails from this company since June and they will not stop. They claim that they sent my "account" to a collections company called Integrity Collections but the company and the so called president is still sending the emails. This is scam website. Do not sign up if you want to try it out...because i can tell they will find a way to get that money.

I fell for this one, as well. In my trial week, I submitted for hundreds of roles (as many as I could in the short time frame), just to see if the company gave out legit notices....I heard back from NONE of the submissions (out of hundreds, to hear back from none is unheard of). I realized that either the whole thing was BS, or that they weren't actually sending my submissions until I would become a paid member...either way, I wasn't impressed and made sure to cancel the stuff in a week.
