I arrived in Florida on January 23rd and totaled a car that I spent a lot time working for on January 24th. As you can imagine no one budgets for such a thing when moving to a new place and I was in a very bad spot. I knew that I was going to be a starting a new job and all I needed was something that I could get 8-10 good months out of before I could start looking for something more reliable ... the car I purchased car barely made it passed 8-10 weeks.

I realize that you get what you pay for and I dropped only 2300 dollars between cost, taxes and fees but that was 2300 dollars that I was hoping would be well spent. I even told the sales guy what I needed and said to me that the car was older but other than a "small" oil leak there wasn't really anything else wrong with the car and the mechanic just sunk a bunch of money into it.

In the 4 months I had a car from CCMotors that I paid around 1800 in repairs. I realize that you get what you pay for and that cars need maintance but this was just excessive. The first mechanic had to replace coils and sensors because there was mysterious green fluid that was leaking from the air conditioner. He said it looked like someone tried to check for a leak and put some type of green luqid of dye in the line but they never actually fixed the leak. A few weeks later the battery was dead and I was told from that mechanic the car needed a good bit of work. A few weeks later was the most of the breakdowns when my breaks failed while driving to work, not only scaring the hell out of me, costing over 600 dollars in repairs, a days pay and finding out from the mechanic who had to do a total overhaul of the breaking system that the fluid that was in car wasn't even break fluid, he didn't know what it was. Living in St. Petersburg but working in Tampa you are forced to cross Tampa Bay by bridge everyday. One sunny May morning my latest breakdown was in bumper to bumper traffic on the Howard Franklin bridge, having to pay out 185 dollars to get from Tampa back to Madeira Beach and then back to Tampa so I wouldn't get fired only to go pick up the death trap I bought but be told from the mechanic who fixed the engine that I needed to get rid of the car as fast as possible and laughed when we ran out of room on the suggested repairs section of his form.

When I emailed the GM of CC Motors to share my experiance I was told it was my fault for buying the car.
