Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
I opened an account with CCA First National Bank to help build my credit. I called the 1-800 number to get it started. The company said that they would send me a catalog but since I am military and stationed overseas in Japan, they were unable to send it to me, but I did recieve a letter from them to open the account. Things then didn't start to click.

About a month and a half later I recieved the catalog. After i recieved it, i called the company back and asked them , why did i recieve the catalog if they were unable to send mail to an APO address. they could were unable to give me a direct answer. At that time, I wanted to cancel the account.

The representative helped me out with no problem. She said "The only thing that I will need for you to do sir is to send us a letter telling us to stop your account and all transactions will be stopped." Later that night I wrote the letter and sent it off the next day. About a month later, I check my balance in my account at my bank and I noticed that three checks had been written. The checks came from CCA FNB.

I called the company back trying to get a hold of them for two days straight. When I finally got a hold of them I asked why did they take funds ($298.00) out of my account after I cancelled the account and wrote them a letter. The representative replied back saying "did you call us back to verify the letter was recieved?" No I didn't.

She said well then sir we don't have your letter on file. she also says that she has confirmation that I cancelled it over the phone but still no letter. I question back "If you can confrm something then why were the funds taken out of my account?" I asked her to look for it. she puts me on hold, and at the same time I hear a convesation going on in the background about another customer who is having the same problem as me but the representative is unable to help her as well.

The lady gets back on the phone and tells me that they do not have my letter on file. I tell her "NO" that is not true because the day that I cancelled it on the phone is the same day that I wrote it and even sent it off the next day. she says I am sorry for your loss sir but I cannot help you. I tell her this is not over and I will get back with them to handle this. She replied back I don't think so sir and do have a blessed day, and I hang up.
