I am starting to wonder if CCA are really acting against me in this fashion or if they may be an innocent party in this.

Here is a text of my original complaint as written to the Northeast California Better Business Bureau, the Shasta County District Attorneys Office, and the California and Missouri Attorneys General, as well as two Call For Action television stations in Tulsa and Kansas City:

A message to whom it may concern:

I have a complaint against the unprofessional conduct of CCA, located at 1670 Market St.,Suite 108 Redding, CA 96001, website cacollectionagency.com, as follows:

I was harassed yesterday by one of CCA's collection agents who acted unprofessionally against me by hanging up on me.

In fact I attempted to speak with a supervisor and instead received another employee who chose to ignore my commands to connect me with a supervisor and instead kept playing with the phone leaving loud prolonged noises, choosing to ignore my commands for a

supervisor or the Chief executive Officer, and even hanging up on me, even threatening to call the police on me.

For the record, I have the right to say whatever I want, whenever I want, wherever I want, however I want, to whomever I want, especially if someone calls me out of the blue to demand money from me.

And for another, I see that CCA have decided to demand payment on a fraudulent debt assessed by AT&T/SBC after they committed several acts of fraud, bad faith, and breach of contract, all in their habitual and

fraudulent disconnections of service during 2005 and 2006.

When AT&T illegally and fraudulently disconnected me at varying times they committed a criminal act themselves on each occasion, and thus they forfeited their privilege to collect on that account.

And if CCA continue to pursue me in the effort to seek collection for this false debt I will pursue my own criminal action against CCA for fraud and for criminal harassment.

And if CCA attempt ANY legal action against me I will file a lawsuit against CCA that is guaranteed to render that company bankrupt.

Before CCA proceed any further they are to step back and consider the real problem---which is rude crude and unprofessional agents who instead of connecting me to superior officers within the company (as it is

common knowledge that I have the right to speak with ANY superior employee within ANY company especially one that calls me out of the blue to seek payment for a fraudulent matter that the company seeking that

payment forfeited thier privilege to collect with their bad faith and breach of contract).

Admittedly I have a very very foul temper when confronted with those types of matters. But if someone threatens ME with prosecution I have to draw the line and fight back.

CCA may not be familiar with dealing with people who grew up most of their lives with anger management problems, like myself. But they need to learn to start respecting the people whom they seek to collect from

if they want to stay in business and out of jail themselves. So far this matter has been reported to the American Collectors Association who have confirmed in an email that CCA are not a member of their organisation:

"Hello Mr. M,

Thank you for your email. ACA International - The Association of Creditand Collection Professionals (ACA) has in place a rather excellent process for resolving disputes that involve its members. I am sorry to

tell you that CCA Collection is not a member of our association;therefore, ACA cannot intervene with regard to this matter. If you are unable to resolve the dispute directly with the agency, you may wish to contact your Attorney General's Office or local Better Business Bureau

for direction.

I have also contacted the Better Business Bureau of Northeast California in Sacramento and may resort next to contacting California Attorney General Brown and maybe even Missouri Attorney General Nixon in the coming days.

Since then I have received a communique' from the Northeastern California BBB and received the following reply:

On Tue Feb 6 19:20 , 'ops' sent:

We have received and processed your dispute. CCA in Redding, CA contacted us today and indicated that they did not have record of an account in your name. Could the account be in another name?

I received a telephone call from a Black female identifying herself as being from CCA, sorry I forgot her name, and a White female whom I attempted to deal with chose to play with the telephone instead of connecting me to a supervisor or a manager.

We are very sorry to note yet another victum of the rudeness due to the company called CCA that handles cell phone bills. Some information you might find interesting: The CCA that handles CELL PHONE BILLS is actually Collection Company of America We here at 1957 Pine Street in Redding CA is CCA (California Check Association) Collection Agency. We get a huge number of calls for this other company and unfortunately there is nothing we can do. They are out of New York or Tennesee and a couple of other places. The one in Tennesee we actually talked to and they have put our 800 # on their bills and refuse to take it off. I guess they think it is funny. We wish we could find out more direct info on this company so we too could file a complaint. PS they are very rude! If you should ever have to deal with us I believe you would find it a pleasant experience very unlike the one you had. Again we are sorry you have had to go through this, sadly you are not alone. Just please remember this did not occur with the CCA Collection Agency in Redding, CA questions call us 1-888-991-4222.
