Sent them a cellphone that I originally paid $400 for back in November 2009.  They quickly sent me a box back in November 24th 2009 to mail the phone to them.

45 days for payment CAME and WENT.  I sent them numerous emails only to go without response.  I wrote several emails to the I.T. manager there for them all to go to nowhere.  I wrote to the president of the company and the emails came back bounced.

They finally mailed me a check after April 20th.  I deposited it the same day.

I received a letter via FedEx a couple days ago from them telling me not to deposit the check saying that there was a bank error.  As of today I checked my bank, and sure enough, their check bounced.

If you call their phone #, 352-369-3888, it's now disconnected.  When you call their 800 #, it just goes to an answering machine.

The letter in the FedEx I received from them says:

Ocala, FL 34478

You have or will soon receive a check for your Cell for Cash transaction. Our bank made an error on 18 of our recently issued checks, one of which was yours.

If you have the check, please do not cash it.  Return it to us and I will have a check immediately issued and sent to you.

If you have cashed the check and it bounces, we will cover all of your overdraft expenses.

We apologize for the inconvenience.

So what do I do now?  If they won't reply to my communications, I'm sitting here with not only a $400 phone gone that I could have sold to somebody else, but now my bank account is shorted by over $100.

If the bank doesn't mail back the bounced check, how am I supposed to have something back?  And if you get the check back without giving me a replacement first, I have no legal recourse.

Instead of going through all of this song and dance, you should have FedEx'd a good check the next day, not tell me that the previous check was no good.

What kind of company would ever NOT respond to a bounced check via email or phone call?!  That is the most unprofessional thing I've ever heard of in my life.

The screen shot here is all I get from the bank along with a line item saying:

"RETURN ITEM CHARGEBACK"

Any by dumping RMS and CellforCash over to Vibe, Inc., how is that going to help bury all of this bad business?

You need to send a new check ASAP to make good so all of this will go away, otherwise I will have to contact the Ocala Police Dept.

The instructions in the letter are pretty clear. Send the check back.

We do not handle customer service via telephone, only email.

Our bank screwed up on 18 checks. I have no control over that. We will reinburse all bank charges.
