Wow! Just want to extend my gratitude to Kenneth O. who encapsulated my exact experience with "Cellogica" and "Rapid Repair" and their scamming 'bait and switch' techniques.
I too, was hung-up on by a supposed supervisor. The distributor in common is Eco-Health, Inc. The pop-up ad I responded to was for "samples" for which there was only a "shipping charge" of $4.00. The entire ad made no mention of product size or trial times or $4.00 money back guarantees. Had these been cited, I would have turned away. $4.00 for the cost of shipping samples seemed reasonable enough so I placed my little sample request.
Products arrived full size, I think, having never ordered from them before...I received 4 charges on my statement for shipping and 2 additional charges for full priced products! I called and asked for cancellation for any and all future orders and for a reversal of charges for the full priced products as I was ordering "samples" with no trial period nor automatic monthly shipping advertised in their ad. "I can cancel your future orders today but I cannot reverse your charges for the products as you missed the 14 day trial time." 'Trial time and monthly auto ships were never mentioned anywhere in your ad', I told him. I was told by this Ian (the 'supervisor') that I could not speak with anyone higher than he is on their chain of command. I said, "Fine, then please give me the name of the president of your company". Answer: "Well, I don't think we have a company president." Reply, 'So you don't know who you work for?', I said rhetorically...
Bottom line: My bank received the product charges exactly 14 days after I ordered the samples, which would have left me with one week from the time of delivery to try the samples, which is moot, because they weren't "samples" and I never would have signed up for any auto-ship product or service from a company I wasn't referred to! These are scammers so BEWARE!
My next call is to my credit card company!
