Cellphone Store Guy named Frank sold me a used, scratched cell phone and refused to refund Ripoff Houston Texas
Purchased a cell phone today 07/09/07 from guy named Frank. I called before I went about a special on Cricket phones I saw in an ad that he lied about to get me to come.(when I arrived at the store he pretending he didn't know what I was talking about and was rather pushy). Since the Cricket phone plans were not what he said he kept trying to persuade me to consider another option which seemed ok. He sold me a chrome Cingular flip phone with a prepay plan for $53.00...Not a very friendly person and large debris of trash scattered on the follor. I didn't say much about floor because the shopping center is being remodeled. When it came time to pay for phone I asked him where was the box with manual he said it would be ready Wednesday July 11,07. I asked him how was I supposed to know how to use phone without a manual (same response that manuals would be ready on July 11 Wed) He briefly showed me to to use some features.
Got phone to my house minutes later and under my light I could see scratches I didn't see before, low battery and it had inbox messages from 10/2006. Turns out Frank sold me a used, scratched phone. I called him minutes later and asked why did he sell me a used phone with messages from someone else still on it, he only said "OH" Told him I expect a full refund and he told me NO. I told him he should have said no refunds while I was there and he wanted to argue especially when I questioned his tactics.........I spent $53.00 on a used phone with no manual and scratches I didn't notice at first and I told him I will take action and he told me to do it.....Frank is the only person who works there at 281-776-9797 today.
