Central Florida Outfitters Chris Jolly Bad Hog Hunt sebring Florida
Called Chris Jolly after seeing his web site and video. Explained that I did not want a high fence hunt. He assured me the animals would be free range, with no fence. Made reservations and went on the trip.
When we arrived I could not get Chris on the phone, the next day he called and said we would be going with "his Guide" to Arcadia Florida. When we got to the adress it turns out we where pawned off on another outfitter. These guys were not even freinds, they had just met each other through a trade show. It turns out Chris does not even conduct hunts anymore. He use traffic from his website, and then farms out prospective hunters to other outfitters keeping part of the fee.
The outfit we got sent to was Huntin Struttin Reelin. These where nice enough people to deal with. The only problem is they took us to an approximately 5 acre hog pen (high fence), and put us in stands to shoot penned hogs. Struttin Ruttin and Reelin, did not lie to us about anything, as we had never spoken with them. If shooting a trapped hog that has been put in a big pen is your idea of hunting, by all means look these people up. By the way I am sure Huntin Struttin and Reelin aligator and deer hunts are different, I believe it is just the hog hunting portion of there businee that is less than ideal.
I can say every word above is factual and not exagerated. Note I have not called Chris or any other person here bad names. If you want to hunt a hog in a fair chase manner DO NOT call Central FLorida Outfitters.
PS. I am not sure how he got a reputable company like Excalibur Crossbows to be part of his scam.
PS. Chris if you read this and rebutt, I suggest you be honest and claim your mistake and apologize.
