Dr. G. Malhotra Horrible staff, unprofessional and rude! Money, money...since when so internal medicine docs do botox injections?This clinic is a joke. Dr. G is okay but does not listen to patients. Impossible to get a refill until you go over and pay for an office call. Cannot get anyone to return messages. Staff are dirty looking, disheveled and not professional. One nurse did not even know how to take a blood pressure properly. I you are ill, I recommend a REAL clinic and not one who also does "botox injections", massages, etc. Swine flu victims in waiting room coughing, etc instead of being "isoloated". When you are the first one in line after standing 1 hour on saturdays, the rude staff take others in first, this has happened 3 saturdays in a row. i liked going on saturday because I did not have to take off work to see doctor but will NEVER do that again due to the rudeness, unprofessional, unkempt staff. I feel like I am in a County Hospital for indigents when I go to this office and the last office visit was over $200.00. My suggestion, go to another doctor who has the time to take care of you and listen to you instead of spending 5 minutes then walking in and out of other patients; rooms.

What you have reported about the Malhotra staff is mostly true. One lady has the doctor's confidence and she just protects her turf, and so the rest have to do the same to keep a paycheck. It is disorganized and very unprofessional.
It is run like a third world free clinic where the patient puts up with anything just to see a doctor. With medicine as competitive as it is in Florida people should not be treated in this way if you want to build a practice.
But Dr. Malhotra is one of the most caring, compassionate doctor's I've encountered. He is a remarkable diagnostician, and does not hesitate to spend whatever time is necessary to establish a rapport with his patient, see to their needs, emotional as well as physical, and he follows the letter of the law to protect his license and his right to practice. Now that is commendable.
So say what you will about the office, it is Keystone Kops kind of operation and without a strong office manager that isn't going to change. In the meantime be thankful that if you can put up with that you have access to one of the rarest kind of doctor you could ask for.

I have been going to Dr. G. Malhotra at the Central Walk-in Clinic since 2003 and wouldn't be going back to him if he didn't provide excellent service. I have been to doctor's offices where the staff is horrendous and quite contrary to what this person said about Dr. G's staff, I find them to be very helpful and kind. I speak with people all the time in the Spring Hill area that go to Dr. G, and like myself, have been going to him for years for the same reason. He is a compasionate and knowledgeable doctor. I don't understand how this person can say anything about the center being interested in nothing but money. I cannot tell you how many times the office has worked with me because I didn't have insurance and couldn't afford my visit. Dr. G himself has treated me, knowing the bind I was in, and refused to charge me. He always asks me now if I have insurance. People like this complainer make me mad, because they have one bad or semi-bad experience, or an experience that doesn't fit their thought of "premier" and they go out of their way to go on the web to discredit someone. If you didn't like it there, go to another doctor...plain and simple. I'm sure you're going to find alot worse out there too, because I have! Stop whining and trying to discourage others from seeing a wonderful doctor!
