Centrix Financial Refused to change my due date to correspond with payday because I never paid it late! Ripoff! Centennial Colorado
My child and I were kicked out of the house, homeless, and I had to file bankruptcy. I have since got back on my feet but not without an 18% car loan with Centrix.
I have struggled to meet the due date because they do not correspond with my paydays. I called and asked to change the due date and went through the steps of paperwork to request it. They said No. WHY? "It wouldn't make sense because my payment history shows no reason to change it with all my past payments being made at the due date".
I offered them to verify with my employer when I exactly get paid and that I'm striving to not have to pay it late. This woman was so rude! The due date is the 8th, but I don't get paid until the 13th. I asked to change the date to be sure it would never be late.
So today is the tenth, and I called because I hadn't heard whether they changed the date or not. Since I was calling, she was DEMANDING a payment. I told her again that I do not get paid until the 13th -- which is why I was trying to change the due date -- and that I cannot make the payment. She said she will "flag my account as a refusal to pay".
I do not appreciate being penalized for making all my payments on time. Can you believe this? Every payment I make from now on will be late. This is effect my credit rating as if I'm "refusing to pay" when I'm attempting to pay on time as I always have!!
