3/1/2012  Ordered a Panasonic HDC-TM900 High Definition Camcorder advertised on the website of Certified Digital at $539.95 including free shipping. I found their website while searching Nextag.com for camcorders, who listed several vendors selling the same item. I did not receive an e-mail confirmation of the transaction.

3/2/2012 Sent e-mail requesting copy of my invoice and asked them to notify me when the item is shipped. I stated that I did not need additional accessories with my order at this time.

3/5/2012 Still no communication from them, either by e-mail or phone. On their website they are talking about their legendary service and how their goal at CertifiedDigital.com is to gain the trust of their customers. I thought if this is an example of their "legendary service" then something is definitely wrong.

I decided to check customer reviews on Certified Digital and discovered that they have received many complaints according to the Ripoff Report. They are apparently professional scam artists and are being sued for fraud. I only wish I had read the report before I placed my order on-line.

Anyway, I have contacted my credit card company and they will be cancelling my current card and issuing a new card. Apparently Certified Digital has todate not tried to process my card, which is good news.

Unfortunately, this experience has left me with a bad impession of doing business on-line, particularly with

photographic companies like Certified Digital.
