Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

I paid the card off, and accidentally over paid by $120.00. I contaced CFNA on 2/12/14 regarding being refunded for my $120.00 overpayment. The person I spoke with told me that she would return the $120.00 to my checking account. On 2/14/14, I checked my checking account, and only $100.00 of the $120.00 had been credited back to my checking account.

I called CFNA, and they basically told me that it was too bad, and they couldn't help me because their records show they sent me the full $120.00. After arguing, the lady told me I could have my credit union write a letter on their own letterhead verifying that I only had received $100, and not the $120 like I should have. This is not acceptable. I should NOT have to go through all of this. It should have been taken care of properly the first time, and I shouldn't have to have spent the time going to my credit union, explaining to them what happened, and then having to go to the post office to send a certified letter to CFNA containing the letter from my credit union confirming that I was shorted $20.

I called them back 2/18/14 to discuss the matter further, and was put on hold numerous times, and asked if I could talk to a supervisor. I was on hold for a good 15 minutes. Then the lady came back and told me her supervisor was still busy, and she didn't know how long it would be. I asked why they only have one supervisor working at the place, but got no answer. I then said to have her supervisor call me back, which I have yet to receive a phone call from her boss.

I feel CFNA is a crooked place, and did this to me intentionally to try to swindle me out of $20.00. I don't trust them one bit after my experience with them, and have also sent a letter to have my Firestone credit card account closed. I will be sure to never do business with CFNA again.

Granted it's only $20.00, but how many other people do they do this to? And, most importantly, if the roles were reversed and I owed THEM $20.00, I'm sure they would be all over my case about it. (Aside from probably egging my car, vandalizing my property, and making threats against my life.)
