I am writing this report as I have been unjustly damaged by Champion Mortgage. First of all, I never signed a loan agreement with them, mas no money changed hands on either side. When I took my reverse mortgage loan out in February of 2010, I signed the loan papers with One ?Reverse Mortgage.

I have been workiung with a professonal who has been trhough foreclosure, and he told me that foreclosure is ukkegak ub tge furst okace, and second of all, I have asked them several times to provide me a copy of the note, and they have refused to do so. In my documents that I signed with One ?reverse Mortgage, it stated that Bank of America would be taking over, and I accepted that. I never received any letter or any kind of documentation that Champion Mortgage would be taking it over. Also, I found out that they are a debt collector and not a service provider.

I had sent them several letters stating that since they are only a debt collector, they can't foreclose, and come to find out, they aren't licensed here in Oregon to do anything, so everything they are trying to do, is illegal and smacks of fraud.

I had also sent them proof that fraud has been committed in the fact that they don't have any note, and none of the documents I have, there is only one signature and that is mine. I have done lots of research, and come to find out, when I signed with One Reverse Mortgage, I purchased the house outright with just my signature. I have asked Champion Mortgage to produce documents with their signature on them, and up to now, they have refused to do so

They are trying at this moment to sell my house from underneath me, as it has been listed on trulia.com, and I just found out the other day, after over 170 days, that it was there. I wal told by the professional that is working with me on this, that what they have done is totally illegal, and I can taje tgen ti coiurt abd sue them for three times the amount. If they don't leave me alone and drop this whole thing, that is exactly, what I might do, as that might be the only wa, that I can get through to them.

I want this company to stop with their unlawful business practices, and leave me alone, or I will do what I can to make sure that they are never able to do it to another person. I am 68 years old, and the man I am working with, told me, that my age alone, makes them so wrong, as he said that I have my age going for me. I do live alone, and I have nowhere to do, and they just don't seem to care, as all they want is their money they clai I owe, when they have no stake in my house in the first place.

I just hope that this company can be put out of business, so other unsuspecting peole, dom't have to go through what I have. I will do whatever I can to put them out of business if it comes to that.

I am concerned for you. It is normal and customary for mortgage lenders to sell the loans and/or the servicing of their loans. They do not need your permission to sell either the loan or the servicing of the loan.  They do not have to give you advance notice to sell the loan or the servicing of the loan. This person that is telling you Champion Mortgage has to have your permission to service your mortgage is not giving you accurate information. 

If you are being foreclosed upon, it is in your best interest to contact a knowledgeable, experienced and legitimate real estate attorney to help you now before you lose your home. 

By the way, the note you signed when you took out the mortgage would be in your closing package. That note doesn't change when it is sold to another lender to service. Get in touch with a good attorney right away. Get away from this person that is giving you incorrect info. Don't risk your home.
