I placed my online order for a Phila Eagles Salute to Service men's sweatshirt on 12/4 9:30pm EST. I received an email with an invoice and another that stated "payment accepted" ($65.99). On 12/17, I finally got an email through to the company, as their site was "temporarily" down for technical problems. I was concerned my package had not shipped and wouldn't arrive for Christmas since I still had not received a tracking number. On 12/21, a person by the name of "Jennie" replied and advised that the site was down but that didn't effect my order. When the sweatshirt arrived, the package was opened. I held the sweatshirt up and noticed iron marks and no tags. I emailed the same address ([email protected]) on 12/25 and told them I was very disappointed, the shirt was damaged and I wished to return the item for a refund but needed the return address. I was then asked to send pictures of the shirt. I immediately sent 3, showing the burn marks. The person replied with this: "Can we give u some partial refund as the compensation? We accept return. Before return, here need your confirmation. If return, you should bear the shipping fee both back and forth. You need to ship it to our warehouse which is located in China. So the return shipping is very expensive. Also,it takes long time to return to us. We will refund for you until we get the returned products. It maybe not a short time for the money to reach your account. Are you willing to wait for it? what's more, the parcel may be lost and we can't receive. We will refund you until we receive the returned parcel,or we can give u partial refund instead of return. which do u prefer?" Next they advised they would refund me 10%!!! I was floored. I replied that this was totally and completely unacceptable and now for the third time - was requesting the address. As I was sharing this horror story with a friend today...he told me he ordered an NFL jersey for his son for Christmas and our similar stories were similar for a reason - they were from the SAME company! Our experience was nearly identical. He was going to check his jersey for flaws. Well for one, it's not licensed by the NFL! I'm so angry and I am determined to get my money back. This is total garbage. Knowing your buying a knock off at a LOWER price is one thing - but a Nike NFL Salute to Service sweatshirt for $67 is about right. On Christmas morning, I purchased the official sweatshirt from d**k's Sporting Goods, for $63.75. Of course they now had the size I needed. How to tell the difference between the Official vs the Fake: 1. Nike symbol is all thread sewn on the official, not a Nike patch sewn onto the sleeve 2. Size of the military ribbon was significantly bigger on the fake 3. The team emblem was a different color then the official version and it was ironed on rather than stitched 4. Collar tags missing, NFL tags missing 5. "Salute to Service" on the left front is a Velcro patch on the official but sewn in on the fake 6. Camo in hood of the sweater - the fake is sand colored camo, big blocks (reminds me of minecraft blocks); the official is moss green digi camouflage 7. The "salute to service" should be exactly centered across from the team emblem - not higher or at the same height 8. Material - sleeve cuff and shirt material are totally different quality 9. Size - men's fit on the fake was smaller 10. Last but not least - The American Flag. The official version does not bend or flex easily
