Chapman Honda Tucson Falsified Credit Scores, Never paid off trade-in, Overcharged on Loan Docs Tucson, Arizona
We bought a vehicle from Chapman approx 7 weeks ago. It has only been one problem after another. We traded in our vehicle, which still had a loan balance. They agreed to pay off the full balance of the truck. We signed the loan docs and were on our way. 2 weeks later, we get a notice from our new lender, with amound COMPLETELY different then the loan docs we signed, and the credit scores our lender had were over 100 points higher then what Chapman said we had (so they could gouge us on the interest rate). Over going over the docs more carefully, they had ended up putting in the service warranty we expressly denied, on top of a bunch of other charges we were not informed of. To the tune of around $2000, which is almost $4000 over the life of the loan. We went back, had them redo the docs and fix our interest and our financing.
Cut to today....7 weeks later. They still havent paid off our trade in!!! We had FOUR YEARS of perfect payments. and now our credit is being affected w late payments on a vehicle we dont even own anymore! We have called 2-3 times a day, every single day to get this matter cleared up. We get no response. They know who we are now, and just send us straight to voicemail. If we go into the dealership, they have us "take a seat" and forget about us until an hour later theyll say who need to speak to isnt in the office. They are blatantly avoiding us and refuse to give us answers regarding this matter. And on top of it, we still have not received our permanent plates, and have had to go back to the dealership to get new temp tags twice now. These are the shadiest slimiest most crooked salespeople ive ever encountered. Once they have your money, they dont care about anything afterwards. I will NEVER deal with these people again and have half a mind to take their vehicle back. Contract violating slimeballs.
