Charles Petty - Visionary Charles Petty - Visionary Property Investments Not Receiving Interest Payments on 2nd Mortgage Lithonia Georgia
Another consumer posted the following:
"I am a customer of Mr. Petty and I want to add to the complaints that have already been posted all over the web. I am still awaiting the interest payment for the private loan that I gave Mr. Petty last year. My forth payment was due in April, it is now the 27th of May. I cannot contact Charles Petty or his virtual assistant. Charles's email no longer works, and the virtual assistant;s number is disconnected. Every payment period I have to may several calls and send numerous emails to get my payments. The payments are routinely a month or more late.
I once got an email saying that I should receive a check in the mail within a week. That was over a month ago."
This is my exact situation. The first payment I had coming took several phone calls and emails. Once I did receive it, it took another month to get my company name corrected. Now, I'm waiting for my next one and again, after numerous voice mails/emails (you can NEVER talk to a live body) I was told that I should have a check within a week. Yeah, right.
I do not understand how this person can continue to blast emails to me everyday, selling various stuff, including multiple solicitations for private money investment, when they do not pay what they owe. How can they get away with taking money from me and then not make the necessary payments? I'm not an ATM! I put my faith in the fact that I would get my interest payments on time, as described in my contract. I can see, unfortunately too late, that this is a scam. I am getting my lawyer involved now. I'm done trying to chase after money that is owed me. I will let the professionals handle it now.
