I have personally known Charles T. Almond for over 20 years and have been
referring many clients to him the entire time. Each time I refer a
client to him, I receive a call from that client thanking me for saving
them from an IRS nightmare. For 30 years Charles T. Almond and his
staff have helped thousands of clients quickly and legally resolve back
taxes owed to the IRS.
Here are some facts from their website:
As the nations largest and oldest professional firm devoted to the
resolution of Internal Revenue Service collection matters, they are the
acknowledged leaders in their field. They pride themselves on their
integrity and commitment to their customers.
They have helped thousands of taxpayers across America protect their
homes, businesses, wages, bank accounts and retirement from tax
liabilities that often run into the millions of dollars. Since their
staff are former Collection Division employees whose work experience
inside the IRS averages 25 years, they understand the system and how it
works. This allows them to help resolve your IRS problems quickly,
efficiently and within proper ethical bounds.
Once they step in, the IRS is required to deal with them and prohibited from dealing with you.
Their expertise in knowing exactly how to talk to the IRS Collection
Division allows them to get you the best possible resolution for your
back taxes saving you money and allowing you to get your life back on
track.
I know for a fact that Taxpayers Clinic, Inc. maintains the highest rating a business can have with the Better Business Bureau A+. This is true and completely verifiable.

List below is the response to the above client and we believe it to be self explanatory. Please read rebuttal. May 11, 2009 Mr. B**** L******, Esquire P.O. Box *** Lac Du Flambeau, WI 54538 Re: Your Refund Demand Dear Mr. L******: Having understood that you do not quite understand some of the IRS related matters that have transpired over the term of the last several years and that you believe that our company has in some way let you down, I would like to address the information that is contained in your file. Since engaging the company in July, 2007 to represent you before the Internal Revenue's Collection Division, we have continuously had our Power of Attorney on file with the IRS. Consequently, we have been copied on everything generated by the IRS which has been addressed to you. A review of these materials indicate that subsequent to our rendering of professional services, which resulted in the release of the Wage Levy placed on you by the IRS, the basis of our July, 2007 engagement, that you incurred the attention of the IRS Examination Division. Our file does not disclose any further IRS Collection Division activity but for those Examination Division matters which eventually evolved into additional amounts owed. These subsequent matters were not a part of our July, 2007 engagement wherein we agreed to represent you with regard to your matters currently before the IRS Collection Division. You are not the first individual to have confused the IRS Examination Division with the IRS Collection Division. Many people believe the IRS is simply the IRS. On occasion, it has been further misunderstood that any situation which develops relative to the IRS should be included in an all encompassing, never ending part of an individual's representation by our company. Unfortunately, neither our company nor any other known can offer never ending engagements of all subsequent events. Accordingly, I would be pleased to discuss your options and alternatives relative to these subsequent matters for no additional charge whatsoever. Otherwise, I trust you will not continue a campaign of disparaging the company's name as you did in the internet's rip off report just to attempt the leveraging of a refund of your July, 2007 fee without more reflection and discussion, if necessary, concerning the above circumstances. Very truly yours, Charles T. Almond, President
