Complaint Review: Charlotte County Florida Criminal Courts - Punta Gorda Florida

First of all I am the one who authored that letter. I was the one who stood in court time after time listening to the Department of Revenue, judges, and Sean Albert Popp discuss how much he would pay and how long he had to pay it. Where you got Terrance Popp from when it is no where mentioned in my letter, I cannot comprehend. It seems as though you just decided to write words up about someone that was never mentioned, possibly because you were bored. As far as I am concerened, ANY custodial adult that is owed child support is entitled to said support. Moreover, by your response, it shows me, you either owe support yourself or have no children, which would explain your ignorance of the law. In closing, I too served 6 years in the Army Airborne Infantry and do not need anyone to write any response on my behalf in a letter of which my name was never mentioned. As far as the so called pound of flesh you speak of. All I can say is as long as there are men willing to have sex with a woman, married or not, they better be man enough to accept the lives they create. And Charlotte County needs to get crap in one sock. For those who read this. In Lee County, there is something called "Pay or appear", if you are owed back support, contact your state representitive and tell them you want this law in your county. Lee County collected all back support owed to parents in 6 or so years, we are talking millions. So it works.

There is some type of mix up between a Terrence S Popp "Shawn" from Michigan and this case of "shawn Popp from FL".  Terrence Popp from MI is a Non custodial parrent who also has been wronged by the system.  Terrence Popp from michigan is a soldier a green beret who has seen service in 3 wars and almost killed in 2 of them.  He truly has a place of honor amung heros.  He sees his children 145 overnights a year, is not behind on his support and has started an organization SECONDCLASSCITIZEN.ORG which is a non profit org that fights to see equal treatment in family court between the sexes and see children enjoy the wisdom of both parrents.

Upon further rivew of the "Shawn Popp" from FL, who is a criminal and has done some time in FL.  But in his defence most of the 60K he owes was accumulated while he was incarcerated.  Also 25% of the 60K is interest, fines and late fees.  So as a convited felon "Shawn Popp from FL" will never earn more than poverty wages, and half of that will be taken and given to his children.  He will be forever stuck in poverty and homelessness until he goes to prison again were he will have 3 hots and a cot on OUR DIME.  "Shawn Popp from FL" was incapable of paying child support while in prison but was charged just the same.  The debt will never go away, he will never pay it off and will forever be a subject of involuntary servitude.

"Shawn Popp from FL" is a criminal but when does the pound of flesh end? and what about the millions of men out there who are not criminals who are treated the same as "Shawn Popp from FL".  And how did Terrence S Popp from Michigan get mixed up in the whole mess? he is in another state?

As for the mother of his children? Perhaps she should have been more selective on who she had her children with?

Again when does the pound of flesh end?

I came across this post while placing one on here about my daughters Dead Beat Dad! Everything you wrote is Exactly what I have been going thru with the so called court system / Child support enforcement of Charlotte county! It's very sad that there seems to be NO ONE in the system that wants to stand up for our children who deserve to be supported by the absent parents. I've heard the same story for 19 years now from BOTH the CSE stating they are doing everything they can BUT their caseloads are overwhelming ... to my daughters father : MICHAEL T RUSSELL --- stating he doesn't have a job -- yet -- somehow manages to buy new vehicles - a new home - and so on. All I can say is that "one day" these UN-repsponsible parents will be DEALT with for all thier lies and deceptions. I am very proud of the young woman that my daughter has become AND very glad that HE is NOT any part of her life!!!!!
