CHARTER LENDING GROUP - THOMAS EVANS PERSONAL LOAN SCAM BALTIMORE Maryland
About a week ago, a man named Thomas Evans, contacted me and said that I had been approved for a $5000 loan. After sending me a contract and talking with him a few times, I signed the contract and faxed it back to him with a copy of my driver lic and my banking information.
He wanted me to send him $900 to am acct. in Canada through Money Gram. Red flag. Dont fall for this. The loan company cannot make you send them money before they ahve given you any.
It is a big scam and from the looks of it they are operating under a couple of differnt names and addresses trying to rip as many people off as possible.
If it dosent feel/sound right dont do it.
