I booked the tickets on the cheapoair.com website. i declined teh travel protection fee and they sent me an email how much they charged my credit card and in that email it stated clearly that i declined travel protection fee. I still have that email. Next day they sent me an another email, and this email was different in the amount they charged me. This time they added travel protection fee to my tickets. I never called them to request the change. So they stole $278 from and even my credit company couldnt do anything about it, because they disregarded my first invoice and only used second one with the fee. I tried to get this fixed but with no luck. 

Be Aware of this scammers. Dont buy tickets from them or if you do be prepeard to pay fees that you didnt agree to.

Eli, in order to assist you, provide your 8 digit booking number and email to [email protected]. The insurance is refundable within 10 days of the  reservation, and if it was clearly declined and charged, we will certainly refund it.
