My husband and I booked five (5) tickets on cheaptickets.com, thinking we got a great deal boy were we wrong. This isn't the first time we have used this company but it is the last. I want to let as many people know as I can what happened to us so it doesn't happen to someone else.

When we booked our flight reservation we requested Midway Airport, Chicago, IL but when the itinerary came up it came up with O'Hare Airport, Chicago, IL and we unfortunately did not notice this and we booked our flight. Like I said before we have used cheaptickets.com quite a few times and never had a problem. I wouldn't have even thought that it would give us an itinerary to O'Hare Airport and not Midway.

We were sent the itinerary on May 25th two days after we placed the reservation and when we opened it to our dismay we were flying into O'Hare. We had never requested OHare. My husband called them as soon as he saw this and they said there was nothing they could do for us as we didn't call with in the 24 hour period. We called as soon as we received the itinerary.

They wouldnt let us speak to a supervisor so we called our credit card company and it is still being disputed. I reported them to the Chicago BBB and as of July 12th they closed the report even though I have repeatedly state I was not satisfied with the out come. Tracey Peck from Orbit keeps saying that it couldn't be their fault and that their website was working.

For one both my husband and I were together when we made request for Midway, my husband is from Chicago and would never fly into OHare; two we didn't get the e-mail itinerary until May 25 three day after we made the reservations. Needless to say we didn't use the tickets and we are still fighting this through our credit card company. If you have to, which I hope you don't book through this company after reading this, make sure you pay very very very close attention to your reservation that it came up with the Airport your chose and make sure you get an e-mail from them ASAP. Cheaptickets.com wouldn't even work with us on at least getting us to the correct Airport. Really bad customer service!

I ended working with Hotwire who was great they changed our car rental reservation and helping us with other details. Even though they have the same policy of no refunds or change their team made all the necessary changes. If it hadn't been for Hotwire our vacation to Chicago would have been ruined.

I believe cheaptickets.com website worked improperly, I know we request Midway and not O'Hare. MDW is the abbreviation we entered. I know for fact that is Midway as we have flown into Midway many times. I admit that we should have checked our itinerary more closely but who would have thought after requesting an airport it would put you into a different airport. If you use cheaptickets.com or Orbitz be very very very careful. I on the other hand will use hotwire for now on they have earned my business.
