Chelsea is a notorius swaplifter that is currently operating under the ID: obsessedwithMAC2 on http://www.makeupalley.com. Because she was a minor at the time of the offense (she stole an estimated $1000 in products and money) no legal action was taken.

Restitution still has not been made to all of her victims, though she claims that it has. She is a fraud & a cheat and should not be trusted under any circumstance!

The events that led to the expose of Chelsea's thefts: 1. Chelsea posts on MakeupAlley and LaundroMatic that she has 17 Urban Decay face cases in hand to swap and sell. She accepts no cheques or money orders, only cash. 2. Some receive nothing. Some receive packages with only extras and no face cases. 3. Chelsea blames the Post Office, claiming they stole the face cases. 4. Chelsea's mother is called. She is unaware of what her daughter has been up to. Shocked, she revokes Chelsea's internet usage. 5. The police are notified and speak with Chelsea and her mother. She is advised to return the stolen goods and money and is also advised not to visit the aforementioned websites again. 6. She repeatedly returns to both websites, rejoining each time she is banned. 7. Recently, she takes on a fake identity, Carla McNally. Proceeds to swap and adamantly denies her true identity until MUAers prove otherwise. 8. She is banned again from LaundroMatic. MakeupAlley repeatedly deletes her account but she rejoins each time. HERE ARE THE FACTS: Her claim: She has "17 face cases" on hand. The evidence: Swaps and sales were arranged to the total of 25-30 face cases. Her claim: Packages were sent containing face cases. The evidence: Postage labels on each package did not correspond to the price she would need to pay if the packages indeed contained the face cases. Package containing face case = 227g Postage label = $2.60 which covers 0-250g Additionally, all packages had a $2.60 label, regardless of whether she was sending 1 face case or 3. This is impossible, as postage would be higher if sending 3 face cases. Her claim: "teenage girls" working at Post Office stole face cases from her sealed packages The evidence: The slit on the envelope DOES NOT FIT the face case through. If the Post Office girls had stolen them, they would not even be able to fit it through the slit. Evidently, Chelsea slit the packages herself to "frame" the Post Office; a federal offense Her claim: Post Office must have checked the packages, which was why they were slit. (Later changed her story to Canadian Customs checking the packages) The evidence: Both the Alberta post offices and Customs verified that when packages were opened, they were carefully slit at the end, not in the middle. Packages were re-sealed with special tape clearly marked CUSTOMS, not clear tape (i.e. tape that anyone can buy from any store) which was used. Her claim: Her aunt (later changed story to her mother's friend Shelly) obtained the face cases for her because she worked there. The evidence: All Urban Decay stores in the surrounding area were called. No such persons existed as an employee. Furthermore, NONE of the stores in her area have records of 17 individual face cases being given or sold to any person. Her claim: There are no Urban Decay stores in Alberta (where she resides) The evidence: There IS an Urban Decay store in Alberta. ALBERTA Chinook Centre 6455 Macleod Trail S.W.
