Complaint Review: CherryHill Tri-Plex-CherryHill Subaru Jeep KIA - CherryHill New Jersey

CherryHill Tri-Plex was advertising vehicles on the television saying no credit checks everyone is approved so I looked them up on their web site to see what they had in SUV's.I saw a SUV listed as a 2004 demo and I wrote to get more info.In their response they told me about the vehicle so I called to explain that I had prior credit problems and the woman I spoke to said that was not a problem I also explained that I may need a co-signer she said just bring the co-signers drivers license and social security number and I would not need them to get the vehicle.I showed both the manager and salesman the email I had sent back to me and they weren't familar with who sent it to me it turns out the woman I spoke to on the phone about the credit probem was not even in sales she was a receptionist.So we looked at the suv and drove it and I explained to the salesman I was not really concerned with a stereo I had my own $3,000 system ready to install. I never even knew I was buying a ten disc CD changer until I found it.So I told him and the person who wrote up the agreement I found it and when I went to load the mag with discs it was not in the truck, cargo net,& retractable cover to hide what ever items in back compartment.So that day I was approved for financing a rep shook my hand and congradulated me as the owner of a new jeep,I was glad(with out a co-signer) but due to it being a Sat.I would have to return to finish the paper work.On the day I was coming back to find out why I was required to return he said I have no idea they won't tell me.

So as soon as I came back I was greeted by a manager who said we are sorry but your credit application was declined I asked him why did they tell me Sat.I was approved he said "well it was a weekend and the banks cannot approve you on the weekend".

The next thing he said can you get a co-signer and I asked why didn't anyone tell me this earlier in the day and I could have asked someone to do it not at 7:00 p.m., but he just passed the buck around avoiding who was at fault.

I was ready to just give up but I did find a co-signer and I asked how are they going to cosign when they aren't here he said we'll figure that out after you give us their info and get approved.After approval twice I was told what the payment amt.was I asked him about the amount I was putting down $2,500 and a 72 month term he just said well you can always sell it after a year and you will have rebuilt your credit rating.

I really was annoyed about the way they did the whole transaction by saying I was approved,but had to come back and that was because they knew and wanted me to get a co-signer plus the payment amount after such a large down payment and 72 month contract.

I was also 1st charged $600 for gap and then $500 plus a $2,000 fee that I questioned he replied this is the banks doing.

I then had to sign paper work and I waited for a long period of time and started to walk towards the door thats when the same manager said,do not leave I need you to sign the rest of the paper work tonight or it will affect your credit rating. So I stayed considering I had already signed paper work on Sat.and I had driven their truck back and had no way home the salesman follwed me all the way home when I was supposedly approved on Sat.but I was stuck if I left without signing half the paper work and they were going to send out a rep the next day at 7:00 p.m. after I got home the next day.

The next day I got a call from my home and they spoke to someone at my house and said that they were going to come out early not the time we had set up and that really annoyed me that they were not doing what the customer wanted but what was convienient for Cherry Hill Tri-Plex.

I called the person I set up the time with and he told me my manager asked me to go early to get the rest of the paper work signed I told him you can't do that the person that was signing does not want to let a stranger in the house without me there.

The whole transaction with Cherry Hill Tri-Plex/Cherry Hill Subaru/Jeep/KIA was a nightmare changing the time without contacting me.

No magazine in the disc changer,cargo net,sliding cover for back compartment,no washer fluid,and a 1/4 tank of gas when leaving.
