Chevron - Esso - Husky - Mohawk - Petro Canada - Supersave And All Gas Stations Neverending ripoff Across Canada, Especially In Britiah Columbia Vancouver British Columbia
Oil price dropped more than 50% from its peak and it fell below US$70 a barrel today. Many countries have reduced their gas prices several times to adjust with their actual costs. Asian countries such as Taiwan has made their gas price reductions more than four times already this year.
Why on earth the gas prices in Canada remain expensive? The highest it went this year was a dollar fifty something a liter when the global cruel oil hit its record high in our history at one hundred forty something US per barrel. Does it make any sense for us to pay CAD$1.25 a liter in BC when the oil is only worth less than US$70 a barrel? This is a total ripoff!! We never paid more than a dollar a liter for our gas before when the cost for a barrel of oil was at that level.
Why the government allows all these companies to continue ripping us off without setting out any regulations though they have already made a fortune in the last while? It is really making me sick when I see all these gas stations increase their prices when the global oil price goes up but they never bother to reduce their prices to match with the global oil price when it falls. This is a very serious problem we have here and we must find a way to resolve it!! Let's stop them from being too greedy!!
