Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

This company claims to be in business for a year.  They dont tell Driver's when they Recurit off of Craigslist, that they Dont Pay Detention Time which in my experience with them was up til 8 hrs in a dock at a time.  They claim to be 80% Drop and hook Another Lie!  The only drop and hook is if you count picking up the load and dropping it at the Office.

They will not pay you to drive around looking for an MT Trailer, they will not pay you the proper mileage.  They will tell you to Run Elogs but when you are over your 14 hours they will tell you to turn it off and run the load.

Their equipment is leased and damaged!  They will tell you to call a 1800# for somthing as simple as a wiper blade.  They feel that since their equipment is leased that the leasing company should be called for routine maintance issues.

They will start out all pleasenet but when you tell them NO, then the Ghetto talk starts by their onlyd dispacther named Wil.  They will tell you that the Qualcom is theirs but they will blow up your Personal Phone for Company Business.  They were not given permission to use my perosnal phone for dispatch or company business.

They will not preplan loads since they know full well you will be dock sitting for a minimum of 4 hours waiting to load or unload.

They are total bottom feeders.  They will tell this isnt the normal, but after talking to a driver that has been with them for over the year, they are always flying by the sat of their pants.

The Owner is a control freak and when he is confronted claims he doesnt know anything.  They will not give your pay stubs even when you quit!

Nothing good about these people!  Drivers last maybe a month if they are lucky!  They also dont pay for Travel to get there nor do you get a real Orientation!  Just thrown the keys and told to deliver their freight!

#2REBUTTAL Owner of company

I have been with Chief for 7 months now , they are a small company yes , trust me when I say this , I have been through various orientations sitting in classrooms listening to corporation big wigs filling my head with BS , how often do you get to meet the owner of a company , an how often do you get called by your 1st name an not a truck number . With Chief you are hired an you meet the owner Larry , a long time trucker who welcomes you an knows your name from day1 , then your sent to consentra for your drug screen , you come back an finish your orientation at the terminal , your given a new truck of your choice an your told exactly where you'll run an how many miles you'll run, this company does not hire drivers; who whine, this is a business that is trying to build , I am payed very well Here, because I ask for the miles , as for Will Santiago , he is a planner an asks you to text him your ETA alot so he can plan your next load an keep you running until your home time is due , which is always to a T , maybe trucking is not for you , because these guys here have been honest with me from day 1 , they pretty much give you the loads an you are responsible for getting them there by how hard you drive

I do believe in these guys always to get bigger an better as the years come an go .
