I am most definitely ANTI-CPS/DCF. they lie, make false allegations, etc....... However, this lady states : "You can beat your child with a reasonable object and not get in trouble for it as long as there are no marks left on the child. "
That's it's LEGAL to "BEAT" your kids as long as it leaves no bruises or injuries??? Ok..that is why your kids were taken from you! You don't ever beat your kids! You are trying to argue that "beating" your children is....ok? ARE YOU STUPID OR JUST VICIOUS? You have a self-admitted anger problem, you admit to hitting your kids & let us not forget the PIG-STYE you had your kids living in!
MOST children should NOT be taken from their families...CPS / DCF tends to go over-board with false allegations, ripping apart the very soul of this countrys' families. There are SOME people that have no business raising children. You are probably one of those people that just need to be educated on how to raise children & instill DECENT values. If your children are behaving in such a way as to, as YOU put it, warrant a "beating", it's because YOU didn't teach your kids the proper way to handle themselves. Or you're just a b***h to your kids & need to grow the F-UP!!!!

United States of America#3REBUTTAL Individual responds

I was the caseworker assigned to this lady's case. First I would like to say that caseworkers for the state of Texas don't call in abuse reports...trust me when I say we have our hands full enough. A concerned citizen called about the state of this woman's house and the fact that she was spotted slapping her three year old daughter in the face and screaming the f word at her in her front yard...she lived on Fort Hood and typically Army spouses are concerned citizens. Because she had children under the age of 5 in her home, it was considered a priority one case, meaning someone had to respond within the day. I was on call that day, so it was my responsibility. When I went out to this lady's house, she was leaving. I asked her to please stay put until we sorted the whole report out, and I was waiting out in my car for the MP's to assist me. She proceeded to scream obscenities at me, put her kids in her mini van and race through a housing neighborhood in circles at top speed until she finally gave up and went back home. During the race, I followed her with the MP's on the phone because I was afraid for the safety of her children. Thank God the MP's were at her house by then because I was four months pregnant, and she was screaming vile obscenities at me....all sorts of things were running through my head (like where was her shotgun) and I hadn't even set foot in her house yet. The MP's then informed me that she was already assigned to Fort Hood family services for an anger problem...no surprises there. Upon entrance, the house was completely filthy...it wreaked of rotten food, diapers, trash/food/dirt on the floors...when I say trashed only those of you who have ever seen a CPS house could probably understand how bad it was. I did not take her children, but rather got the Soldier's Command involved to clean up the house. Because of her anger issues, we safety planned with her to obtain services and not be left alone with her kids until she completed services as Fort Hood ACS said she wouldn't show up to her classes. My husband is in the Army and we PCS'd shortly after the incident, so unfortunately I was never able to see what happened. I recently googled my name looking for an article, and I found this. Wow...I can't believe it has been out there all this time. I will say that my time with CPS was not about the money...starting caseworkers make around 34k a year and literally work around the clock. I am now a professional, and have a career I love. However, I would not trade my time working for the state of Texas and the many families in need in the Copperas Cove area for anything. So, there you have it...that's my side and I'm sticking to it.
