In July 2003 my brother and I traveled to Scottsdale AZ to meet with David Shelburg to discuss purchasing a franchise territory for a Chinese vehicle that he claimed to have North American import rights. Nothing ever came of it and to this day I believe that the whole thing was a ripoff.
I believe that all he wanted was our money and everything else was smoke and mirrors.

Those were crooks and you are right the only wanted your 25K.
Listen, just between you and I .....I have this deal, a new El Salvadorean Car.
Not only does it take you where you need to go, it cleans your house, cuts your lawn and runs any other errand you need done.
...and this franshcise won't cost you 25K, not even half that... all you need to do is come to Los Angeles and I'll set this franchise up for you.
