Chinook Winds Casino Extremely unsafe facilities, then management threatened employees, lied, perjured themselves Lincoln City Oregon
Chinook –Siletz Facility
While long term staying at their campground, I went to the Jacuzzi. The floor tiles were smooth ceramic wall tiles, so I was very careful. Hanging on to the railing, I stepped out and while slowly bringing my second foot over the rim, the change of weight caused the first foot to fly out from under me. My wrist was shredded and toe injured where I hit the wall. I screamed for some time before a companion came out of the steam room to call for an ambulance. I was determined that the casino put safety mats down or change the tiles to non-slip. The behavior of the tribal staff was inhumane.
- The campground staff offered to take me to surgery and doctors. They were told if they did, they would have their pay docked.
- The tribe insisted I tripped and they had a witness to prove it. When I demanded to know who the witness was who left me screaming in pain, the witness disappeared.
- They claimed they had a video, but they were not going to let me see it.
It became obvious that the tribe – casino was going to lie and perjure themselves to avoid responsibility for an unsafe environment. These unethical people were also the judge and jury for the case. DO NOT GO TO THE CASINO ASSUMING YOU WILL BE SAFE.
