I found an advertisement on kijiji.com for English bulldog puppies pay shipment only. The woman was convincing using her religious beliefs to convince me to pay the shipping costs through Western Union. I did. They said my puppy would arrive at 7 in the morning so I drove 2 hours in the middle of the night to pick him up only to receive an email saying the flight was cancelled because of weather and I needed to pay for a temperature controlled crate and they were willing to pay half since I couldn't pay it all. They were asking for an additional 750.00 dollars. They got upset when I told both "airlines" and the dog owner that I was investigating on purchasing my own kennel to transport the dog because they wanted an additonal 750 bucks to send my puppy and that they puppy was already shipped from Cameroon to Glasgow Scotland and being held there. The more specific questions I asked, they would avoid the answers. They never told me the airline or any other specific information about the puppy.

Luckily, I called Western Union and cancelled the second payment they asked for in time. I am out the 250 they got from me for shipment but am filing fraud charges with my bank. This is a scam. They use fake email addresses to draw you in then tell you the puppy's life is in danger if they don't receive western union immediately. I am playing along with them right now because they haven't found out I have cancelled the western union transaction - however - they will receive no more money from me. My son was very disappointed. However, I am determined to do what I can to stop these people. If they are not willing to receive PayPal - do NOT send western union. They will send emails encouraging you to save the life of the puppy when the puppy doesn't exist. I found pictures of my puppy on another advertisement that was posted AFTER he had already been shipped from Cameroon to Scotland. Please do not fall for this scam. They ask very few questions - name, address, phone number, and closest airport then they work from there trying to get your credit card or western union payments..................Beware!!!
