Quality Construction at a fair price has been my motto since day one.
My reputation is my business. For over 30 years, I have run my construction business in Northern California, striving to fully deliver on all promises to clients and subcontractors. I do not advertise. A hard-earned reputation and community referrals is how I built a company once consisting of over a hundred employees.
My construction company built Pacific Theaters in Rohnert Park, Strip Malls for La Mancha Development in Sacramento, Albany and San Leandro, multi-storey buildings in Santa Rosa and Petaluma, 400 plus homes for California Property Homes in Northern Sonoma County, 1000 plus track homes in Santa Rosa, Healdsburg, Windsor, Rohnert Park and Petaluma where my company completed the concrete, framing, exterior siding and interior trim in addition to numerous showcase multi-million dollar homes throughout the Bay Area. These jobs and many more make up the over one hundred million dollars in work my company has completed in 30 years.
In late 2006, amidst the early stages of the downturn in the real estate market that was devastating to the construction industry, I began bankruptcy proceedings for Zak Enterprises Corporation. The decision to file bankruptcy was the hardest of my professional career and something I continue to think about daily. I welcome any questions about the bankruptcy or my tenure with OLI Builders.
I continue to operate my construction company in the greater Bay Area with the highest standards of integrity and efficiency. Achieving customer satisfaction and delivering value are my highest priorities. My current rating with the Better Business Bureau (the BBB), the most trusted source for connecting consumers with businesses, is an A+, the highest rating possible. My rating is excellent because there have been minimal claims against my insurance, which is in direct contrast to every allegation made against me in the criticism above. This fact about my insurance is supported by the comment by Brian Stephenson, my company's liability insurance broker for over 30 years, who explained that my company's "...claims experience/loss ratio has been excellent." Please also read the consumer comments left by Marty Coyle.
I ask any reader interested in contacting me for professional building services to look at my BBB rating, to investigate the homes, offices, and commercial property I have built, to seek honest referrals from my former clients and other members of the community, and again, to speak with me so we can discover together if my company is the best fit for your project.
Sincerely,
Christopher K. Dluzak

I have known Chris Dluzak for almost 30 years. Chris is a long time client of mine. I am an Insurance Broker based in Sonoma County, and Chris has done business with me for most of those years.
In my experience, I have found Chris to be honest, fair, and diligent. He has always kept me informed and up to date on insurance issues of concern and any payment issues he may have had. Over the years Chris's claims experience/loss ratio has been excellent. To an Insurance Broker, good loss experience, over so many years, is a sign that your client does quality work and has a good working relationship with his customers.
In my view, Chris has always handled himself in a professional manor. He is a decent person and loyal client. I have always felt Chris is a person with a strong belief system, a person that makes maximum effort to do right by others. It is my experience and my belief, that Chris always gives his very best to his customers and his business partners.

I hired OLI Builders to build a two-room addition and later a pool in Sonoma. Christopher Dluzak was the individual representing OLI Builders and carried out the day-to-day responsibilities for completing the projects. Before the pool was completed the CEO of OLI Builders, and Mr Dluzak had some basic misunderstandings and parted company. After I insisted that funds I had given directly to OLI Builders be used to pay laborers and subcontractors, The CEO declared the project finished and refused to complete the project. Many laborers are still unpaid and I had to pay one subcontractor a second time. I hired a separate contractor and with Mr. Dluzak's significant individual assistance the pool was finished this past month. I found Mr Dluzak to be a hard-working, committed, competent and caring builder and I would use him again as long as he was not associated with OLI Builders. Mr. Dluzak has obtained a permanent injunction against OLI Builders regarding the sale of certain equipment held by OLI Builders and I have filed a claim against OLI Builders' bond insurer. I am available to discuss with anyone who has an interest. M. Coyle, ((ROR REDACTED))).
