Despite their fancy websites, these guys are nothing but crooks.  I asked for a refund after waiting several months for and engraved fuel cover for my Harley that was promised in 2-3 weeks with a 100% satisfaction guarantee.  Dozens of requests - phone and email - led to nothing but promises and lies.  They even claimed the check was in the mail when it wasn't.  What nerve!  Their final excuse was a serious illness, and I now doubt that was even true since I read the same complaint months earlier, but even if true, does not excuse their total failure to do anything except take my money.  Itw as only after I filed a police report that anything got accomplished.  Joyce Steiner even lied to the police and made false promises that she would send my refund.  I finally got my refund today February-20-10, for an order I placed in early August, 2009.  Excuse after escuse after excuse!  After my experience, I have read many other, similar complaints.  These people ought to be put in jail.

I find it incredible that even this vendor's rebuttal contains lies and excuses that I experienced for months and months.  The police commander who had constant contact with JOYCE STEINER has noted that she furnished him the same falsehoods given to me.  He told me he was relentless and she made false promise after false promise.

Yes, Chrome Fusion/Joyce Steiner sent a refund about a month ago - for the wrong amount.  Just like she tried to overcharge me on the original invoice and had to send me a revised invoice, she tried to rip me off again by sending a refund for less than refund due. I should have expected such a trick from her.  She must think her customers are complete morons.  Well, this customer is not a moron, just an honest and trusting customer who has saved all the lies emailed to me by this thief.

My item was promised within 2-3 weeks, contrary to what was stated in the rebuttal.  But then, what can I expect but more lies?  I have read only negative comments and complaints about this company - all with similar experiences - no product or poor quality, unreasonable production time, unreasonable refund time, lie after lie, excuse after excuse.  And now, instead of a sick engraver, the excuse is the chromer closed due to the economy. 

Incidentally, the part I ordered for engraving is already chrome.  There was no need to wait for a chromer.  (She can't even keep her lies straight!)  At least JOYCE STEINER didn't mention the bookkeeper losing my information again like she did for the first couple of months.  I sure wish I had checked on this company before ordering.  They were even kicked off of ebay!

These people are scam artists, plain and simple.  They live off people's money until the customer makes enough noise that they are forced to send a refund.  In my case, I got "the check is in the mail" excuse about a dozen times over more than half a year before I finally received my refund.

I know quite a bit about chroming and I also know I would never recommend these crooks to anyone who expects something for their money.  I should have done my research.  Only complaints and no recommendations are found on the web for Chrome Fusion also known as Sanjoy Engraving.  Thanks for nothing, JOYCE STEINER!

This customer ordered a hand engraved fuel door....We are very well known for our hand engraving and beautiful parts....This customer is not used to the quality of hand engraved  parts.....Most parts take at least  6 to 8 weeks for completion....We hand engrave, show chrome then inlay color into the engraved cuts....We usually do not give refunds...this was a custom graphic part ordered.....Our chromer closed his doors due to the poor economy which backed up our orders for completion...We agreed to give this customer a refund and we did send one....She sent it back return the sender not opened..We then sent it back to her for the second time.....Our customers know and expect  us to take time engraving these beautiful custom pieces...We are sorry that this lady did not understand the process for custom hand engraved parts.....We certainly do not rip off our customers.....Might take a little longer than expected to complete...Here is an example of our hand engraved parts.
