Wow where do I start....1st of all they do not keep their word when they set you up on a payment plan to help you get caught up, they will go into your checking account too early or too late. Back in May of 2008, I had set up 3 Western Union Payments with them for the 1st, 15th, and the 30th....The representatie I spoke with said that she would cancel the last two for me because I told her that I didn't want to pay an extra ten dollars to get the money to them quicker...and I came to find out that she cancelled the May 15th one, but not the May 30th one. This caused seven or eight checks to bounce in my account which caused me to have to pay almost $300 in bounced check fees because the representatives do not notate your accounts with important arrangements. Plus, I sent in my auto-pay slip in around like May 16th and they should've received it at least by May 20th. I wrote down that I wanted the auto-pay to start coming out of my account in the month of June, but later on in the month of June I found out that they weren't supposed to actually start the auto-pay until a month later; therefore they weren't supposed to actually start going into my account on a monthly basis until my July 9th payment. This caused my checking account to bounce three or four more times. Lastly, after I disputed this two or three times and asked for a credit for all these bounced check and late fees that they caused they repeatedly denied my disputes by saying that it was my fault and they weren't responsible for all of the money that I lost due to their negligent representation. Lastly they repossessed my car on September 6th after I spoke with so many different customer representatives about this issue and still never got a solution, after I explained that I was struggling to pay them after the fact, and I told them how much money I lost in these occurences.

Even though I was three months behind they still did not offer me any assistance with a refund or a credit. They repossessed my car about like three days after I spoke with a representative named Erica Marks around the 3rd of September who was interrogating me and asking me to tell her where the car is while making smart comments/remarks towards me. I had a feeling that they were going to take it just because I got smart back with her, when she asked me if I had full coverage insurance on the vehicle. When I told her that if the company really wanted to know that information they could find that out if they really wanted to find it out, and on their own. And in fact, I did have full coverage on the vehicle at the time, but I feel that she assumed that I didn't since I didn't give her a "Yes" or "No" answer she probably notated my account with a no insurance notation, since I feel that it was very ironic that they actually picked it up three days afterwards. I also feel that they are hiding something because I asked if I could get a copy of my notes in my car loan account to see if she had in fact did that, but they had in fact told me that is was against their policy....and when I questioned her if it was my right as a consumer to get requested documentation if I ask for it and she said no because it was against the company's policy.

I WANT TO KNOW MY RIGHTS AS A CONSUMER IN THIS SITUATION BECAUSE I FEEL LIKE MY RIGHTS HAVE BEEN VIOLATED, AND I WANT TO BRING A CASE AGAINST THEM SO THAT THESE LOAN SHARK COMPANIES WILL FINALLY GET THE MESSAGE THAT WE HAVE RIGHTS ALSO UNDER THE CONSUMER PROTECTION ACT. I AM STILL EMBARASSED AT THE FACT THAT THE TOWING COMPANY CAME TO GET MY CAR IN FRONT OF MY APARTMENT COMPLEX SECURITY AND RESIDENTS IN BROAD DAYLIGHT, AND I STILL FEEL SO HOPELESS ABOUT THIS SITUATION. I WISH SOMEONE WOULD HELP ME WITH THIS AND INFORM ME ABOUT WHAT I CAN DO TO GET AT LEAST SOME OF MY MONEY BACK BECAUSE THE TOTAL REPOSSESSION COSTED ME ABOUT $1,080.70 + A 540.00 REPOSSESSION FEE, SO I'VE LOST APPROMATELY $2,000 IN THIS WHOLE ORDEAL.

Right! Let's, the taxpayers, give them 25 billion to bale them out. . . .

Right! This is one of the 3 'top' automakers that want taxpayers to give them 25 billion to bale them out of their financial difficulties! Yeah right, just like they will help us if we run into any financial issues! Bet they can't wait to 'help' the little people once they get our tax money. Nothing like flying in on a private jet to ask for 25 billion dollars of taxpayer money. See Shashawna, if you had a private jet so you could fly in and speak with their reps maybe they would pay the charges they caused you, one of the tax payers paying for that 25 billion baleout!
