I joined this CIC online. I used both my husbands and my SSN. I tried to get my credit report and when I did I could not understand it. I decided it was tooo hard to read and make sense of so I wanted to cancel it online. Well when I sent my cancellation notice to the customer dept. like it said to do I thought that was it. Well, it wasn't.
The next month I was billed $9.95 so I emailed numerous cancellations to the customer service dept. then I looked on my bill and called the 1-800 number and cancelled what I thought was my account. I was then told that was that. Well, it wasn't. The next month I got another $9.95 charge. When I called the 1800 number they told me that I closed only my husbands account and not mine. I was not told that at the beginning, and because I signed up as a joint account and only billed for one account I thought it was one account.
Apparently not, when I called, I was told that I have to cancel each persons account individually or the charge would keep occuring. I now have cancelled both our accounts and hope this is the last I hear from them but there is always next month!!! If you really need to throw your money on something give it to a charity and not this company. Good luck to anyone who uses these rip off artists.
