First off, it took four years for a response? None of what she said is true. I have emails to prove otherwise. Buyer beware, this unprofessional contractor lies. Check her out with the Bureau of Contractors. Her license has been suspended several times. Several of her suppliers dropped her, and subs no longer work for her and have filed claims against her for non-payment. While some issues were resolved while the project was in progress, the job was NEVER COMPLETED and she never responded to repeated emails or calls. If she had experienced and professional sub contractors working for her, there would not have been issues to resolve in the first place. This contractor takes no responsibility for her actions or inactions. This post is intended to inform potential buyers to check Ms. Atchley out before hiring her. I checked out the references she gave me. They were ok, but their negatives turned out to be my nightmare. I should not have believed her when she told me she had resolved those issues. I have learned my lesson.

While I agree that there were a few issues during this clients remodel, there was not one legitimate complaint that was not addressed or unresolved. I am a strong advocate for the registrar of contractors as were a licensed contractor. They resolve official complaints. Yes there have been few complaints in 20 years of business all of which were dismissed or dropped for different reasons. The ROC understands industry standards. I have personally heard horror stories of other contractors and also heard horror stories of extremely unreasonable clients. Some of which have contracted with us. This client was not ripped off. I would like to point out that this client did not file a complaint. Although took the time to post on this site vs trying to resolve their outstandingly items directly with our company. Remodeling can be one of the most difficult things to exoerience. It's not easy having your home in dismay. Unexpected things are encounted during the process. I could complain as well, although a waste of energy and non productive. Our company is always solution oriented. A strong memory I recall from this particular project was that it was impermissible for our sub contractors to use this client bathroom. Another recollection was that she complained to the sub contractors directly and never communicated directly with us the same sentiment. My sub contractors told me. We would have 100% resolved reasonable items that were not up to industry standard. I will end with this. If you hire a licensed contractor and feel your project is so unprofessional and such poor workmanship please file a complaint with the registrar of contractors. It will be inspected and your concerns or issues will be resolved or the contractor will loose their license and ultimately be out of business. I only stumbled on this site while reviewing the Internet for updating our website. Wasn't notified by this client. This project was 6 years ago.
