Almost everyone charges you for a full minute for any portion of that minute that you used. The clock actually starts the minute you hit the green send button and not when the call connects. So if it takes 15 seconds to get through and you talk for 50 seconds, they are going to charge you for 2 minutes. Also, remember to hit the red button after your call. If you are using a flip phone and you only flip it close, it doesn't always disconnect right away and may cost you a few minutes. BTW, it's cheaper if you get the Nations plan for $39.99. You get 450 minutes and if you go with the $49.99 plan, you get something like 700 minutes and no long distance or roaming charges. Good luck

(sorry folks... I must've hit the delete or backspace button on my keyboard while typing) It SHOULD read: I calmly said to the gal, "So if I only ever make 30 second phone calls for a full month, then I technically only get 200 minutes?" I wanted her to see that I really wasn't getting 400 minutes if 30 second calls or voicemail checks count as a full minute. Has anyone ever heard of this????
