An honest response following the numbers. I would make the simple statement that anyone a company owes money too, is someone disgruntled. The web and sites like Ripoff Report are in place to serve as a voice for those wronged and to warn others of the dangers of doing business with you.
1. Profitable is a subjective word and the only way to see is by looking at the financials. Since Ciplex is not a publicly traded company, the claim of profitable will remain subjective.
2. This is a blatant lie. I personally know 7 people that Ciplex owes money too. This list includes ex-employe's, contractors, freelancers and companies.
3. Half truth, most project managers quit, then the remaining were fired with no notice, no severance and no thank you for their dedication. We were told one week by Joshua Krane we're like family and the next we were gone, just like that.
4. Lie - the seo team is based in Israel and has their own company, own offices and their own staff.
As you can see by Ilya's own words "outsource. It doesn't work in our industry. It creates a bad product and is not a scalable business model." - agreed, then why do it and lie about it?!

Wow! That's all that can really be said - as these malicious accusations could not be further from the truth. This review is clearly coming from either a former disgruntled employee or a fake post by a competitor.
I'll respond in order: 1) we are a profitable company that has been in business for over 13 years. 2) We do not owe money to any past employees whatsoever 3) we let go of our project managers because we adapted a new culture and hierarchy free model which is similar to those of Zappos and Netflix and many other businesses that are getting away from typical corporate structures. Project managers are common in our industry because they act as middle people between clients and various contractors that agencies typically outsource to.
But because we don't outsource and every single one of our team members is a full-time employee, we found that project managers are simply not needed. Our staff is broken down into teams, and those teams work directly with clients. This caused an increase in the quality of our product and the time-frame to complete projects was cut by over 60%. 4) Our SEO team is part of our staff, its not outsourced. We simply don't outsource. It doesn't work in our industry. It creates a bad product and is not a scalable business model.
