i guess i did not read completely. i thought the charge was for any on line payment. did not realize it was only for rush payments. yet when i called circuit city on the phone and chase bank and asked about the fee for on line payments all they said was yes it's new and nothing they can do about it. they never said it was for rush payments. they should have known and explained it to me. too busy to communicate with anyone i guess.

I had the same situation and was totally outraged! I called and wrote to both Chase and Circuit City. Circuity City said they couldn't do anything and kept referring me to Chase. After I told Chase I am closing my account for a measly $15 fee, they wrote back and said they would credit it back- thankfully After Chase's first response they said the fee is wavied if you pay the balance in full, or the minimum 3 days before the due date. You can pay the minimum within 3 days, but the fee is automatically added. It's the most insane system and not right

I pay this bill on line every month. There is never an additional fee, unless I want to add a rush payment. I never do a rush payment. I suggest you retry, and don't use the rush option. There should be no additional charge

Yes it stinks that they do charge to pay by phone or on-line. But Aren't you able to pay the bill in person? Or god borbid by mail. Please respond.
