Circuit City Stole and replaced my upgraded video card out of my Computer while is was their possession for repair CLEARWATER FLORIDA
My compliant with Circuit City is within one year of purchasing a brand new H.P. computer I needed to have it serviced. It took them six weeks to have the motherboard replaced. The problem is that during that six weeks someone removed my upgraded video card and replaced it with one of lower quality.
I purchased a PNY Model 8500GT video card on Feb. 19, 2008 and it had 512 MB of RAM. It was replaced with a used Nvidia GeForce 6600 video card with 256 mb of RAM.
I have the owners manual and installation CD for the 8500GT Video card.I also provided Circuit City with a copy of the receipt when I bought the 8500GT Video card.
Then they had the audacity to write me and state that does not prove that the upgraded card was in my system when it was tuned in to them. I only have one Desktop computer in my home.
I also made them aware that the day I picked up my computer up after it was repaired the technician brought my computer out of the back area and placed it on the desk. I noticed it was not secure. The two bolts holding the computer door were missing? He got a couple out of from under a desk and installed the bolts.
