CIS WORLD WIDE ripoff, misleading, scam, dishonest, money hungry, liars Internet
I was searching for information on the internet regarding my grandfather who was killed in 1953 during combat in the Korean War. My mother knows very little about him and his family, as she was only 4 when he was killed.
During my search, I came upon a web site that offered a service to produce records that I have been unable to find, for example, death, birth, and marriage records. I paid $34.95 to be able to have access to this information. The money was taken out of my account immediately.
After about three hours of complete frustration and one dead end after another, I finally quit trying. I had no new information. The only thing I found was info I had already found on free websites.
Of course, there were many offers for me to pay more money in order to access other sites. I only gained a headache and less money in my account. I tried to reach the site but only got a pre-written response.
I requested to have the money returned to my account but have not received it. It is not a matter of money but the fact that this web site is falsely advertising a service they can not provide. It is wrong and should be stopped. They are making a lot of money from people who are innocently looking for information.
