Hey stupid, read and understand a post before spouting your idiotic jibberish.
You are telling the OP to "Please Pay Your Balance Due", but the OP does NOT have any balance as it was PAID OFF!! Do you not know how to read???
Then you talk about CitiBank Not being responsible for balance transfers. THE OP never mentioned a problem with a balance transfer at all. The OP cleearly mentioned the "writing of a check". It could have been a check from a personal bank account, right??
In any case, you are an idiot and need to go elsewhere.
It appears that you are not even a genuine American, and most likely not even in the United States.
Where is "Crown Point".
Exactly what branch of Citibank do you work?
If you were actually a customer service rep, you would post the phone# with an extension, and also the branch location.
You are a FRAUD and an IDIOT.
Go away now.

Citibank (South Dakota) N.A. realizes that sometimes unfortunate circumstances happen to good people. We at Citicorp pride ourselves on excellent client services. It's unfortunate that this situation has not been resolved. However, Citi is not responsible for balance transfers. Ultimately it is the consumer's responsibility to keep concise records of banking transactions.
When you first agreed to the terms and conditions and the card, your signature was a notation that any and all third party transactions release Citi of any liability. Citicorp can send that information to you if you desire. Please call Citicorp Credit Services at (800) 274-6660. We are willing to help! And as always, thank you for banking with Citibank. We appreciate your business. Our account collectors are ready to take your call. Please have your bank information available in front of you. Thanks again. Sincerely, Citibank.
