While checking my account I noticed check #1354 for $2900 was cashed in Japan at Nisseki Auto Servis. I reported this to Citizens Bank in Milton, Ma. immediately. I think someone might have found a voided check of mine and some how it ended up in Japan. What's so comical is that I still have check #1354 in my check book.

A banker named Wendi helped me fill out an affidavit and she said I didn't need a police report. Wendi also told me that I would receive my money back in about 8 days. When I called the business department at the bank they told me I would not receive my money for 6 to 8 weeks. This is crazy. Who really knows when?

As impatient as sometime I can be, I called a friend of my who had a friend that spoke Japanese. He contacted the Nisseki Auto Servis and they told him a man named Kanoonya Musoke Lwanga bought a car and wanted it shipped to Kenya. The Bank of Tokyo cashed the check without ID.

As it stands a week later...I am told the report that I filed with the bank was denied. What does that mean? That means I cannot get mt money back.

Amazing that the bank's fraud department is not capable of doing a little research to find the right answer and to realize that I was a victim of fraud. It's right in front of their faces. I will be cancelling my other 2 accounts with Citizens Bank. Goodluck.
