Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

If you work for City Security in Jonesboro, GA don't expect to get paid and if you do get paid it will be several weeks after when you were suppose to get paid.  This company is the pits, it sends officer on sites to work and never pay them for working until they get good and ready to.  The owner and the top supervisors, go on trips and frequent restaurants while officers are waiting to get paid for work they have done.

Pay period is 1st and 15th but you don't get paid some times until 12th or 28th which is starting another pay period.  When you call to ask about your pay check Lt. McDonald will make up an excuse or Major Johnson just says "I don't have anything to do with that and you should be glad you have a job".  I am working for free if I can't get paid and on time.  We have bills.  Every office that has worked for this company experience the same.  They do not pay you time and a half for overtime like they are suppose to, just straight time.

If any officers complain about not getting paid they are then taken off schedule or given a minimal of work hours.  The company make you go to a training academy whether you want to or not and then they deduct $375 from your check so they don't have to pay you again.  This company is a ripoff and it sucks to be apart of it.  They constantly lie about you getting paid, really rude when you ask about your money and just users.

I need not tell you who I am, for you should already know. My issue is the fact like the previous complaint from CT. I get what you are saying about not responding back to emails. I have sent 2 messages requesting to swap shifts and I have yet to hear anything from them and if the policy doesn't allow for trading of shifts then why have a "trade board" to put shifts up for trade? What annoys me is the fact they claim to be "military" oriented yet lack the bearing to provide support for their troops. I served in the military and I know about respect, you have to give in order to recieve. The mere fact they blew my emails off shows me they have no respect for their employees. I have in the past work for several military oriented organizations and when I sent in a request I got a response. If a company wants dedicated employees they need to be dedicated to the employees as well, it is a two way street. Hey if they figure who this is and they want to fire me, well so be it. At least I voiced my opinion. I want to say more but I will save that for another time and day.

City Security, INC why is it no surprise to find complaints of how you treat your employees working in other states? I know a really good close friend that works for you and he is not all that impressed with your organization. Especially when you lack the respect to reply to messages he sent regarding a very important situation because if you sent a message to your people you would expect them to respond in a timely manner, well you need to practice what you preach. Also how can you expect your people to be dedicated to their jobs when you can careless if they get paid or not? Let me ask you leaders of City Security, you got bills? you got families that need to be fed? Well in case you have not noticed, like my friend working for you (he will remain nameless so that he doesn't get retaliation from you sorry people, or at least for now because I am sure he will probably quit) there are others like him that have bills that need to be paid, food that needs to be put on the table and that lack of compassion and respect towards your people ensuring them they will be paid in a timely manner so that they will be able to meet deadlines on bills is appalling to say the least.

I have worked for companies based in other states and I had no problem with either getting "direct deposit" or a check in the mail, you ready for this? I got them on the actual date I was supposed to be paid, not a week, two weeks after, nor did I have to call and find out if my check has been mailed out only to get passed around or told lies. City Security, you will soon find out because all it takes is you screwing over the wrong person and you will find yourselves with a class action law suit.

The owner Daryll Triplett does not pay his child support either. I met him when he had his company in Ohio and he did the same thing to his employees. I used to work for him and he did the same thing to me. My sister was his secretary that's how we met and she would tell me stories of how the officers would call for their paychecks and Daryll would tell her to tell them that they didn't receive it yet and the pay checks were their in his desk. He has never been good at paying his employees and i have known him for over 10 years. If you ever work for this man it is at your own risk.

keep a Work Diary & Copies of Your Checks

#8Consumer Suggestion

Fri, September 24, 2010

There are at least three things you can do.

I hope you were keeping track of your hours in a notebook. It is called a Work Diary. Also write in it anything that happened to you from the bosses said or did to you that does not seem right.

You will need proof you worked there. You will need copies of paychecks with your name on it, your company ID and anything else that will prove that you work there.

You need to Xerox your checks BEFORE they are cashed.

Call the Social Security Administration and make sure your employers are paying to them the Social Security they are taking out of your checks.

Now, call the Federal Government office of Wages and Hours and tell them what is going on. What your bosses are doing to you is illegal.

Next, call the state agency that regulates the private security agencies or guard services in your state and find out if you are required by State law to have all those training classes. tell them what is happening to you.

CALL THE IRS -- the Internal Revenue Service and ask for their Criminal Investigation Division and tell them what your bosses are doing, how they are cheating you out of your pay and how they are living.

FIND ANOTHER JOB--ASAP!

But you need to make sure that these thieves you work for get taken down and never rob anyone again.
