Cityspree.com - Big Time Rip Off!!
Cityspree claims to auction off a certain number of certificates at a set $ amount for a particular store. The proprietor of this store puts up no money, but merely accepts the certificates when redeemed. For this, they receive a free web page advertising their business. I bought several of these certificates for one particular business that stopped taking them altogether. Then I went to yet another store for which I had a certificate and was told by the owner that she was told by cityspree that they would auction off 5 Certificates per month. In fact they had auctioned off many more than that. Luckily for me, she accepted the certificate. She certainly didn't have to, because she was definetly mislead. This company is now in chapter 11. BUYER BEWARE!!!!! They will probably open up again under a different name and scam thousands more people.
REMEMBER!!!! IF IT'S TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE.....IT PROBALY ISN'T!!
